All residents at our Arts University Bournemouth accommodation receive free access to our onsite student gym which is fully kitted out with a wide selection of quality gym equipment, meaning you can save those all-important pennies and avoid joining a pricey commercial gym during your studies. From treadmills to cable stations, our gym is well set up with the equipment you need to help boost your general health and fitness.

Student Coffee Shop

Located on the ground floor of our accommodation, Naked Coffee offers a vibrant, eco-friendly coffee shop and provides a variety of food and drink options, such as customisable salads, mouth-watering burgers and a range of sweet treats. Travelling to Arts University Bournemouth from Lulworth Student Accommodation

Our AUB accommodation is well located just a short distance from the university campus. Bournemouth is well connected by public transport, providing you with quick and easy access to the AUB campus so that you won’t ever miss a lecture!

By bus

Getting to the AUB campus from Lulworth is simple as our building is located just a 2 minute walk from the Lansdowne bus stop. From there you can catch one of the regular buses, getting you to university in just 15 minutes.

You also have lots of options for buying tickets, including a year pass, a 10-trip ticket or just a single fair. You can register for theKey smartcard to make travelling on the UNIBUS simpler.

By bike

Bournemouth & Poole Council have partnered with Beryl Bike to provide instant hire bikes via the app. Bike stations can be found across Bournemouth, with one being ideally positioned just outside our building, so you can hop on and ride to campus in just 12 minutes.

Things to Do in Bournemouth as An AUB Student

There’s no doubt that exploring Bournemouth’s 7 miles of sandy beaches will be the first thing that springs to mind when thinking about what you will be getting up to whilst living here. However, there are many other activities to enjoy all year round, including indoor & outdoor adventure golf, cinemas, bowling, aquariums and over 2000 acres of parkland to explore.

Bournemouth is also home to a range of art exhibitions and activities to enjoy throughout the year, such as the Arts by the Sea Festival which takes place in late September and is a celebration of art culture, people and place. If you want to find out more about talented local artists, then we would highly recommend adding the Arts by the Sea Festival to your calendar as it is not one to miss!
